About The Episcopal Church

About The Episcopal Church

As Episcopalians, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We strive to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts, and all are welcome. Walking a middle way between Catholic and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and service-oriented church. We believe in thoughtful engagement with Scripture and tradition, and we want to become the transformed people God calls us to be.

The Episcopal Church is a member of the Anglican Communion, the worldwide family of churches that trace their roots to the Church of England. We are also connected to the Christian Church of ancient times through our worship, which mirrors the way the very earliest Christians gathered together. If you are coming from an Episcopal background, another church, or no church background at all, we invite you to experience the beauty and mystery of Episcopal worship.

How We Worship

If you visit an Episcopal Church for Sunday worship, you will find it:
Sacramental, Reverent, Biblical, Thoughtful, and Joy-Filled.
