Brotherhood of St. Andrew
The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew is the official men's ministry of The Episcopal Church, and every man in the church is considered a member by default. Our Presiding Bishop Michael Curry is the most prominent "Active Member".
Over the past 135 years, the mission of the Brotherhood has been to support men and youth through the pillars of Prayer, Study, and Service. Our hope is that every congregation in our diocese has a men's group that identifies with our time-honored organization.
We are blessed to have great national leadership under President Conrad Jones and Executive Director Tom Welch. These two great leaders have brought the Brotherhood into the 21st Century with renewed enthusiasm and reaching out to younger generations for leadership roles.
The initiatives of The Brotherhood in Oklahoma have included an Annual Men's Retreat in May at Saint Crispin's Conference Center, support and mentoring of many Boy Scout troops, and various fundraisers supporting many other deserving causes.
